His first book, The Philippine Food, Cooking, and Dining Dictionary, is the first multilingual and vernacular food dictionary described as the mother of all Philippine food dictionaries. The book is among the 2017 World Best Culinary Books in the 22nd Gourmand Book Awards held in Yangtai, China.
