Kris Lanot Lacaba

Kris Lanot Lacaba is a poet and journalist. He co-wrote the 2015 Nick Joaquin biopic Dahling Nick, a Cinema One nominee for best picture and Gawad Urian nominee for best documentary. He placed third in the children's poetry category of the 2011 Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for literature, received the University of the Philippines Poetry Award (Amelia Lapena-Bonifacio Literary Prize) in 1999, and is co-recipient of the 2016 Catholic Mass Media Awards special citation for investigative reporting for a ten-part martial law series in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, with authors Ceres Doyo, Susan Quimpo, and Monica Feria. He wrote the afterword to the 2017 edition of Jose F. Lacaba's Days of Disquiet, Nights of Rage: The First Quarter Storm and Related Events.
